For 18 years, Fairburn has been my home. It is the place where I live, the place I love, and the place I have been honored to serve for nearly two decades. But as many of you know, the past year has been a testament to why we must fight harder than ever for the integrity of our local government.
The Truth Behind the "Removal"
In October 2025, a coordinated effort was made to remove me from the City Council seat you elected me to hold. They called it an "impeachment," but we know the truth: it was a calculated attempt to silence a representative who dared to ask the tough questions.
Whether it was demanding transparency for our utility infrastructure, calling for a much-needed Charter Rewrite, or exposing the misuse of taxpayer dollars—my commitment to the facts made those in power uncomfortable. When they couldn't stop the questions, they tried to remove the person asking them.
The Fight for Your Vote
Since that unlawful removal, I haven't stopped fighting. While our legal battle continues in the courts, it has become clear that the ultimate power rests with you, the voter.
An "appointment" was made to fill my seat, but an appointment is not an election. In a democracy, the people decide who represents them—not a group of politicians behind closed doors. When an elected official is removed without cause, it isn't just an attack on that individual; it is a theft of your representation. It is an attempt to tell you that your vote doesn't matter.
I am here to tell you that it does.
Finishing What We Started
I have officially qualified for the May 19th Special Election. I am running to return to the City Council to finish the work we began together:
Disbanding the Water Authority: To ensure direct accountability and fair rates.
Utility Master Planning: Modernizing our infrastructure with a real economic plan.
A Fairburn Charter Rewrite: Closing the loopholes that allow backroom politics to thrive.
Taxpayer Advocacy: Ensuring your money serves the community, not the politicians.
The Race is Won by Endurance
The road has been long, and the opposition has been fierce. But as the saying goes: The race is not given to the swift, nor to the strong, but to those who endure until the end.
I am still here. I am still rooted. And I am still ready to fight for you.
How You Can Stand With Me:
We cannot let the status quo win. I need your help to launch a strong, people-centered campaign that restores the voice of Fairburn voters.
Mark Your Calendars: Early Voting begins April 19, 2026. Election Day is May 19, 2026.
Support the Mission: To help us reach every door in Fairburn, please consider a donation of $25 $50, $100, or whatever you can give: Donate Here
